ashleyrose2 store 20's DANCE COSTUME and HAT - LACE and CRYSTALS

From an estate brought from France, this was said to be a dance costume but they were not sure of the age. It is covered with black lace and has a design of prong set crystals

Condition: They are in very good condition; has some fine pin holes and tears, it has not been washed. waist 29". front to crotch is 16" in front, 18" in back from waist to crotch. The hat is 22" diameter.

This dress was made by my mother about 8 or 9 years ago, when The Lord of the Rings was very popular. The dress like new. I never wore it much, only indoors for one or two photoshoots, and maybe once outside for a few minutes. Otherwise, it has been hanging in my closet. We are a non-smoking home and while we do have cats, the dress hasn't come into contact with them. This dress is about a size 14/16, but the fabric is stretchy so it has some wiggle room.

When laid out flat (as in the pictures) it's measurements are as follows:

Hem to Shoulder ~ about 59.5"

Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam ~ about 14.5"
